Delta Medallion Qualification Dollars accrue at 1 MQD per eligible dollar of the ticket price, on a Delta-marketed flight, whether Delta or a partner operates it. A ticket marketed by a partner airline does not publish an MQD rate in Delta's partner chart, so this calculator shows the redeemable miles that ticket earns instead of inventing a qualification figure. Frequently asked questions
- How are MQDs calculated on a partner-airline ticket?
- They are not, from the fare-class chart. Delta earns MQDs at 1 per eligible dollar on Delta-marketed flights, including those a partner operates. Delta's partner chart sets a percentage of distance for redeemable miles only, so this calculator reports those miles for a partner-marketed ticket and does not publish an MQD figure the chart does not contain.
- What is RDM and does this calculator show it?
- RDM means redeemable miles, a separate currency from MQD. On Delta-marketed spend they run from 5 per dollar as a Member to 11 as a Diamond Medallion, and those are absolute rates by tier, not bonuses added on top of 5. In partner-ticket mode this calculator shows the redeemable miles from Delta's partner chart.
- What are the 2026 Medallion thresholds?
- Silver at 5,000, Gold at 10,000, Platinum at 15,000 and Diamond at 28,000 MQD, as listed in the status tiers table above. Lifetime Medallion tiers are measured in flown miles rather than MQD, so they are not shown here.
